Nate Steoger

Personal Trainer – (425) 213-3911 or (425) 883-6006

Nate Steoger is the Owner and Head Trainer of Good Time Fitness. He has been in the fitness industry since 2007 and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Central Washington University. Nate grew up in Sammamish, Washington and found a passion for Weightlifting. He trained the squat, over-head press, deadlift, bench press, and the Olympic lifts.

His philosophy is very different from other trainers. He believes there is a difference between Training and Exercising. Training is putting the body under a progressive overload every session and progressing off of the previous session. Exercising is doing a workout to feel tired and out of breath. The problem with exercising is it’s easy to become tired and when tiredness is the goal, progress is forgotten. Training is the process of where you are now to where you want to be for the purpose of meeting a specific goal. Training burns fat faster than exercising because the resistance increases at a faster rate.

Nate believes a good workout is not determined by how sore you are the next day or by how much you sweat. It’s determined by if progress was made and if that progress felt easy for the day that makes it even better.
